TO: THE COLLEGE OF TOURISM
AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT
Now that I ……………………………………………………………….. from …………………………… Application No. ………………………., have decided to study at the College of Tourism and Hotel Management, in Cyprus under the work and study program, I hereby unconditionally accept the following terms and conditions.
The term ‘work and study program’ refers to the agreement between the college and employers for the academic (BA Hospitality Management and MBA) and professional practical training of the student/ employee from hereon referred to as the student.
For the purposes of this agreement, ‘College’ refers to the College of Tourism & Hotel Management, and ‘Employer’ refers to the Hotelier. 

1.    The employer will provide accommodation for the full duration that the student is participating in the work and study program.
2.     The employer will provide 3 meals per day during working days for the full duration that the student is participating in the work and study program.
3.     The employer will pay the tuition fees for as long as the student is part of the work and study program.
4.     The employer will provide medical insurance to the student for the full duration of the work and study program.
5.     The college will pay for the transfer costs from the hotel to the college and return.
6.     The employer will pay for the cost of the flight ticket to Cyprus and return.
7.      The employer will pay for the transfer cost from Larnaca airport to the hotel.
8.      The employer will pay for social insurance, for the full duration of the work and study program.
9.      The employer will pay Euro 200 plus tips (tips may vary depending on the hotel and position) per month as salary subject to review based on the performance and attitude of the student.
10. The student will pay to the College Euro 500 deposit which is refundable only by completion of the work and study program.
11. The student agrees to work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day plus one day off per week, in the assigned position given by the hotelier.
12. During the period 1st June- 30th Sept. the student agrees to work for 6 days per week, 8 hours per day plus one day off per week. (No lectures during this period).
13. During Christmas and Easter holidays the student agrees to work for 6 days per week, 8 hours per day.
14.   Overtime pay is set at Euro 2, 70 per hour and can also be given as extra time off.
15.     In the week prior to the main examination period (end of January, end of May) the employer will allow the students to take one extra day off.
16.       A 13th salary will be paid in full to the students in proportion to the amount of time spent in the employment of the hotel.
17.       For every year of work the student is entitled to three weeks of leave and a return flight ticket to his/her home country. (students will be eligible after the completion of one year unless specified otherwise by the employer).
18.       The student will pay any additional costs regarding his studies including the purchase of books or stationery.
19.        The student will be registered with the college for the full duration of the work and study program.

0.         In case the student decides to break his contract with either the college or the hotel then he is automatically removed form the work and study program and the deposit of Euro 500 is forfeited.
21.        The college will provide the weekly lectures during two full days.
22.         Normal rules and regulations of the college apply for the full duration of the program.
23.        The college will follow up on the students’ progress both academically and professionally.
